The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli air aggression that targeted the city of Damascus at dawn last Monday, which led to the death of two martyrs.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in a statement today that the crime of the Zionist entity represented in the missile attack on the outskirts of Damascus, which led to the death of two martyrs, is due to the brutal tendency of the Israeli occupation entity, strongly condemning this terrorist crime.
Khatibzadeh indicated that two Iranian consultants in Syria were martyred as a result of the Israeli aggression, stressing that this crime will not go unnoticed. He said, "The response to the crime committed by the racist Zionist entity will be among the goals of the resistance axis in the region."
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a statement yesterday condemning the Israeli aggression on Syrian territory, indicating that "Israel" will pay the price for its crime.
A military source confirmed that the Israeli enemy committed an air aggression at dawn last Monday from the direction of south Beirut, targeting some points in the vicinity of the city of Damascus.
