He's already back!
The last Taste of Paris, postponed due to the health crisis, took place in September.
But for its 7th edition, the gastronomic festival returns to the original spring.
From May 12 to 15, 2022, gourmets will meet at the Grand Palais Éphémère (Paris 7th).
As every year, the festival, which has given itself the mission of
"democratizing access to gastronomy"
(by offering signature dishes in mini-portions charged from €6 to €12), will bring together on its starred stands and chefs for the Parisian bistronomy, former "Top Chef", cooks as pastry chefs... With, for the past few editions, a program that has made the effort to become more feminized.
Masterclasses, cooking classes, stands of producers and artisans, will of course always be there, to learn and meet people between two tastings (in cardboard plates, after a very likely queue).
Barbot and Ledeuil as “guest stars”
Note this year, the presence of two newcomers, who weigh in on the French gastronomic landscape: Pascal Barbot - currently at Cèna, whose Astrance is still waiting on rue de Longchamp - and William Ledeuil, thinking head of Ze Kitchen Galerie, who will be there with its two executive chefs Martin Maumet (Kitchen Galerie Bis) and Pandora Métayer (Kitchen Terre).
The luxury of the palaces will be worthily embodied by Amaury Bouhours (Meurice) and the duo Boris Campella-Matthieu Carlin (Crillon), while the three-star Kei Kobayashi, a regular at the festival whose counter is particularly popular, will be present again.
David Rathberger (L'Assiette) and Alessandra Montagne (Nosso) are also highly anticipated.
The show “Top Chef” will also be well represented thanks to a plethora of former candidates from the show: Matthias Marc and Jarvis Scott (Liquid), Thomas Chisholm (Chocho), Justine Piluso, Mory Sacko (Mosuke), Kelly Rangama (Faham), Mohamed Cheikh, Denny Imbroisi (IDA) or Tania Cadeddu (Vida).
On the world food side, make way for Manoj Sharma (Jugaad), Amandine Sepulcre Huang (Bleu Bao), Kobi Villot Malka (Magniv), Kamal Mouzawak (Tawlet) or Gloria Kabe.
The sweet will of course not be outdone, from Yann Couvreur to Claire Heitzler, via Anne Coruble (Peninsula), Erwan Blanche and Sébastien Bruno (Utopia), Quentin Lechat (Royal Monceau), Julien Alvarez (Ladurée) or Pascal Hainigue (Bristol).
