The firm part of the sentence will have to be served under an electronic bracelet, decided the court, which also sentenced the defendant to a fine of 2,500 euros.

which denotes a form of support for the jihadist cause

".

In defense, the court recalled that the defendant was the mother of the jihadist, that she had no criminal record and that she was the support of her own elderly parents.

The court also sentenced Hajira Belkhir, the partner of Foued Mohamed Aggad, to ten years' imprisonment for terrorist criminal association, issuing an arrest warrant against this woman, presumed dead in Syria.
