Wüst promotes support for Ukraine aid initiatives

Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU) has appealed to the people of North Rhine-Westphalia to support the many aid initiatives for war refugees from Ukraine.
"Every cent helps.
Let's help the helpers," he said on Wednesday in the state parliament.
He thanks the many citizens who showed their solidarity with very different types of help and the aid organizations that have been in action from day one.
Düsseldorf - Chemical and pharmaceutical companies supported the aid transports by Action Medeor so that hospitals in the Ukraine received the urgently needed medicines.
The solidarity is impressive.
"This country has a big heart," stressed Wüst.
