The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa governorate organized 18 catering seizures against violating commercial activities in the governorate.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awad, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the seizures that were organized this week affected a bakery owner in the town of Mahja for violating the weight of bread bundles and a food distributor in the city of al-Sanamayn, violating the lack of sales invoices and various commercial activities “foodstuffs.” And vegetables, fruits, sweets, and electricity” in the areas of Daraa, Izraa, Ghabghab, Qinya, Ankhil and Kafr Shams, for violating the presentation of illegal purchase invoices.
Al-Awad pointed out that the arrests also affected the owner of a vegetable and fruit store in the city of Izraa, violating the lack of a commercial register and a clothing store in Kafr Shams, violating the lack of a plate showing the consumer’s right to exchange and return, in addition to closing the Al-Majd station in Glenn residences for a period of two weeks, based on a previous catering control.
