A Munich police officer has confessed to having bought cocaine from a dealer a total of 100 times.

It's the next chapter in the drug scandal at police headquarters.

Now there is a long imprisonment.

Munich – The drug scandal surrounding the Munich police headquarters never ends.

Yesterday, Georgios S. was another official in court, who far exceeds all previous drug allegations.

According to the indictment, the police officer committed around 150 cocaine violations.

At the start of the trial, the 35-year-old admitted to the district court on Thursday (March 10) that he had bought cocaine at least a hundred times from a dealer - it was Hakan P. (name changed), who first triggered the drug scandal with the Munich police .

A number of officers had bought cocaine from him.

When Hakan P. was arrested himself in 2018, he disclosed his customers to the investigating authorities - and in return benefited from a leniency program that guaranteed him a small sentence.

But it didn't stop with these acts: Because Georgios S. had also given drugs to acquaintances and sold them on.

He also admitted these crimes before the district court.

According to the indictment, the now suspended police officer had purchased cocaine almost 150 times between 2016 and 2018.

Accordingly, he also had drugs delivered to the Oktoberfest grounds in 2017 and helped the dealer Hakan P. to smuggle a bag of drugs past the entrance controls.

The accused testified that he had slipped into alcohol and drug addiction because of psychological stress.

This also included a deployment in the attack in the Olympia shopping center in mid-2016, which he had not processed.

Another bitter case for the Munich police that damages their reputation.

The drug scandal had already shaken the police headquarters in 2020.

Prosecutors conducted 39 investigations against 37 police officers and filed six charges.

In February, the district court had already sentenced police chief Fritz F. (28), who had bought and sold drugs, to two and a half years in prison.
