Corona cannot harm the Eittinger household.
Because the numerous medium-sized companies and some large companies let the tax revenues in the municipality bubble up.
Eitting – Treasurer Georg Neudecker presented a solid budget to the municipal council on Tuesday, which the municipal council unanimously approved.
In December, the committee had discussed the figures in detail (we reported), now subtleties have been incorporated.
"But we only changed a few approaches marginally," says the CFO in Eittingen.
The municipal council therefore decided to reach an agreement with Caritas so that the specialist office for homelessness would also look after the citizens of the municipality if necessary.
Eitting pays a contribution of 1700 euros for this.
The costs for the district music school increased from 3900 euros to 4900 euros.
There were also shifts in the costs and grants for the children's home.
Eitting receives 528,700 euros in state funding under the Bavarian Child Education and Care Act – an increase of 46,200 euros.
At the same time, however, the subsidy to the institution increased by 27,700 euros to 905,000 euros.
"We had planned more in advance," Neudecker explained the various sums.
Eitting received an allocation of 63,200 euros for school transport – this was 7,400 euros higher than Neudecker had assumed.
On the debit side, the maintenance of municipal dirt roads now costs 15,000 euros instead of the previous 5,000 euros.
The administrative community contribution rose by 9,700 euros to 676,100 euros.
Eitting and Oberding together form an administrative community and thus have to share the costs for the town hall, maintenance and staff.
All in all, the administrative budget, which includes the current income and expenditure of the municipality, closes with a sum of 5.65 million euros.
Neudecker left the major items such as the district levy (a good two million euros), trade tax (1.5 million euros) or the income tax component at almost 2.2 million euros unchanged.
This also applies to the assessment rates for property taxes A and B as well as for trade tax.
They each amount to 300 per cent for property tax and 350 per cent for trade tax.
According to Neudecker, however, Eitting will have to do without key assignments due to his good control power.
The allocation to the capital budget, which includes the municipal investments, increases by EUR 3,500 to EUR 293,700.
The volume of the asset budget now amounts to 2.67 million euros.
The thickest items are the purchase of land for the eastern power plant construction area in Eitting (754,000 euros) and general property purchases, for which Neudecker has estimated 300,000 euros.
Digitizing the sirens and alarm receivers of the three municipal fire brigades will cost around 75,000 euros.
But there are also whopping grants of planned 61,000 euros.
The St. Georg children's home is bursting at the seams - a new house for the smallest citizens is to be planned.
Neudecker has calculated 200,000 euros for this year.
The million-dollar project will shape the finances of the next few years.
It remains to be seen whether the costs of up to now a total of six million euros can be maintained.
But it won't work without taking out a larger loan.
However, no borrowing is planned for this year's budget.
In view of this sum, it is almost a modest 20,000 euros that Eitting is providing for renovation work on bridges in the asset budget.
On the plus side, the sale of land in the Gaden-Mitte development area brings money into the municipal coffers.
The council is currently dealing with the allocation of land.
