If Camilla is one day made Queen Consort alongside Prince Charles, it could have far-reaching consequences for her children, Laura Lopes and Tom Parker Bowles.

London – The two children of Duchess Camilla (74) have little to do with aristocracy and prefer to stay out of the public eye.

The fact that her mother is the wife of the next British king has so far only played a minor role in the everyday life of Laura Lopes (44) and Tom Parker Bowles (47).

However, as soon as Charles takes the throne, things could change for her as well.

Queen Elizabeth II (95) caused a real bang when she recently announced that she wanted Camilla to one day stand alongside future regent Charles (73) as Queen Consort.

Even if the Duchess of Cornwall has meanwhile gained a good reputation at the royal court through her diligence, many Britons are still critical of her outside the palace walls.

Especially for those royal fans who still blame the 74-year-old for the failed relationship between Princess Diana (36, † 1997) and Prince Charles, it is a thorn in the side to have to accept her as Queen Consort.

What future awaits Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes when Camilla becomes Queen Consort?

When the day comes and the Prince of Wales is crowned as the new king, his stepdaughter Laura and stepson Tom could also suddenly become more of a focus.

According to an expert, it is very possible that the two will even receive royal titles.

The case of untitled descendants of a king or queen – or in Camilla's case, a queen consort – is unprecedented in British history.

Author Brian Hoey therefore believes it is "very likely" according to "Express" that both Tom Parker Bowles and his sister Laura Lopes will be given this honor.

However, according to Hoey, these will probably only be “subordinate titles” that have no influence on the dynamics within the royal family.

However, Tom and Laura could still be seen regularly at various Windsor events.

Though Tom Parker Bowles has occasional media appearances as a food blogger and restaurant critic, mother-of-three Laura Lopes shuns the limelight altogether.
