There is a new meeting place for seniors in the Egerner parish center: the "Café Sorglos" always opens on the third Wednesday of the month - for the first time on March 16th.

Many older people in particular have withdrawn from all activities during this time.
"They are still in shock," says Marille Tipolt, senior representative in Rottach.
The 70-year-old is all the happier that she can now make a new offer to the seniors: Together with the Catholic Women's Association Rottach-Egern/Kreuth, Tipolt will open the seniors' meeting point "Café Sorglos" in the Egern parish center on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
The name should be program.
In Tegernsee there is the Forsthaus, in Bad Wiessee the Bürgerstüberl.
Tipolt has long wished for such an informal meeting place for the elderly in Rottach-Egern.
In order to realize the project, she teamed up with the voluntary helpers of the women's association, Monsignor Walter Waldschütz provided the premises in the new parish center on Seestraße.
"I'm very grateful for that," says Tipolt.
Always on the third Wednesday of the month, visitors can spend pleasant hours in the "Café Sorglos" from 1.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The women's association takes care of the organization and catering, Tipolt pulls the strings together in the background.
Tipolt knows that after a two-year Corona break, the seniors have to be mobilized again.
She herself also avoided personal meetings during the pandemic.
Seniors who had concerns could contact the Rottacherin by telephone.

“That was a big concern for me”
Now socializing should be possible again - albeit in compliance with the corona restrictions.
If you want to come to the "Café Sorglos", you must be able to present proof of 2G.
The hall, which is designed for 100 people, can only be partially occupied, explains Tipolt.
She hopes to accommodate at least 40 visitors.
Anyway, the interest is there.
A number of seniors have already contacted her, reports Marille Tipolt.
The offer is aimed at all older citizens of the communities of Rottach-Egern and Kreuth, at the seniors of the parish association and at the friends and members of the VdK local association Rottach-Egern/Kreuth.
In addition to hospitality with coffee and cake, there will also be a changing program with music and lectures in the "Café Sorglos".
Tipolt - who has been a senior citizens' representative in her community for 13 years - is happy that a new senior citizens' club has been set up.
"That was very important to me."
