Planning in communities underway: An overview of highlights in the event year

This year there should be a lot going on in the communities.
This is planned from festivals to markets to concerts.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – Festivals have been cancelled, concerts postponed: These reports recently characterized the event calendar in the Tölz region, which was thinned out due to the pandemic.
But that should change this year.
There is a whole series of anniversaries, concerts and festivals on the program in the district.
An overview:
Bad Tölz: Easter market
The series of events begins with the Easter market on Marktstraße from Friday, April 8th to Easter Monday, April 18th.
Immediately afterwards, the Tölz Boys' Choir Festival will take place from Wednesday, May 25th to Sunday, May 29th.
This time the world-famous boys' choirs from all over Bavaria are guests.
US Car Meet
Whether trucker and motorcycle fans will be able to meet again at the "Jailhouse" this year is still open, says owner Steffi Hörmann on request.
The US car meeting is scheduled for Pentecost Sunday and Monday, June 5th and 6th, with reservations.
The Harley Meet is scheduled for August 13th and 14th and the Trucker Meet for September 10th and 11th.
However, it is not yet certain whether the major events will actually take place.
"Four Days, Four Bands"
"Four days, four bands" is the name of an event planned from Corpus Christi, Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th June, in the Bürgergarten.
As the title suggests, a different music group plays in the small park every day.
From Friday, July 1st to Sunday, July 3rd, you can get out into nature at the “Forest Games” on Blomberg.

"European Championships"
The sporting highlight is Sunday, August 14th. The men's road bike race of the "European Championships" in Munich leads through Lenggries and Bad Tölz, among other places.
Tölz autumn market
The Tölz Autumn Market on the weekend of October 9th and 10th is all about arts and crafts.
On Wednesday, October 12, the Tölz Boys' Choir will give a concert together with the Trinity Boys Choir from London.
The Advent season begins on November 27th with the Tölz Christmas market.
On December 2nd, the Tölz Boys' Choir will also put you in a contemplative mood with Carl Orff's Christmas story.
The Tölzer Easter market will lure you to Tölzer Marktstraße from April 8th.

Lenggries: "Electric Winter Festival"
The musical start to the Lenggrieser event year is the "Electric Winter Festival" on Saturday, March 19, at the valley station of the Brauneck cable car.
Lecture with Anselm Grün
On Sunday, May 8th, on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the parish church of St. Jakob, there will be a service and lecture with Father Anselm Grün.
"Seasons of Sounds"
Fans of electronic dance music can look forward to the "Seasons of Sounds" festival on Saturday, June 18th at Jaudenparkplatz in Wegscheid.
100 years mountain rescue Lenggries
The Lenggries mountain rescue service is celebrating another anniversary.
The centenary celebration is scheduled for the weekend of July 2nd and 3rd.
"Zagguckerlwoche"
Visitors can catch a glimpse of herb gardens in the region during the second "Zaunguckerlwoche" from Thursday, July 7th to Sunday, July 17th.
Lenggries Festival Week
After a two-year break, the Lenggrieser Festwoche is back from Friday, August 5th to Assumption Day, Monday, August 15th: as usual with live music in the marquee on the B 13 and in the amusement park.
150 years of the Lenggries fire brigade
On Sunday, August 7th, the Lenggries volunteer fire brigade is celebrating its 150th anniversary.
On the occasion of the "European Championships", the Tourist Information Lenggries organizes a complete cycling week.
From Monday, August 8th to Sunday, August 14th, those interested can take part in guided bike tours, for example.
"Breton Autumn"
French specialties await visitors on Saturday, September 24th at the "Breton Autumn".
The street festival at Rathausplatz is organized by the “Lenggries-Bretagne” partnership association.
"Hiking Autumn"
The Lenggrieser "Hiking Autumn" offers guided mountain hikes for guests from September 26th to 30th and October 3rd to 7th.
Benediktbeuern: Pentecost market
The series of events in Benediktbeur starts on Tuesday, June 7th, with the Whitsun market on Dorfstrasse.
From Thursday, July 14th to Sunday, July 17th, the soccer department of TSV Benediktbeuern-Bichl will be celebrating its 75th anniversary.
Open air at the Maierhof
A highlight this year are the open-air events at the Maierhof from July 22nd to 31st.
Among others, the band LaBrassaBanda and the KlangKunstChor Iffeldorf will perform with “Carmina Burana”.
On the weekend of September 17th and 18th, the textile market will take place in the Maierhof.
The traditional Leonhardi ride is planned for November 6th.
The "Carmina Burana" will be performed in the open air in the Maierhof in July.

Bad Heilbrunn: Several concerts
Music lovers will get their money's worth in Bad Heilbrunn, with several concerts planned this year.
Singer-songwriter Werner Schmidbauer will start on Friday, April 1st.
Martin Kälberer (Saturday, May 7th) and mezzo-soprano Rita Kampfhammer (Sunday, July 3rd) will also perform.
The "Rocknacht" on Saturday, October 22nd and a performance by Michael Fitz on Thursday, November 10th will follow in autumn.
Kochel / Walchensee: "Music Summer"
At this point in time, no event dates have been set, as the Kochler Tourist Info will inform you on request.
In December, the KKK and Uniper presented the program for the "Music Summer at the Walchensee Power Plant" in July: Details at www.uniper.energy/musiksommer.
Gaissach
The dates of the clubs and other events will not be announced until the end of March, as announced by the Gaißach town hall.
