Sino donates 20,000 sets of oximeters to elderly homes and single-living seniors for delivery from next week

Sino Group and its subordinate Wong Ting Fong Charitable Foundation further support the elderly and children’s anti-epidemic needs, and cooperate with Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Association, Hong Kong Family Welfare Association, Caritas Social Work Services Department and Sik Sik Yuen Social Service Coordination Office, etc. The elderly living alone donated 20,000 sets of oximeters, which are expected to be delivered next week.

Of the 20,000 sets of oximeters, 3,000 sets will be distributed through the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Association to 9 residential care homes for the elderly and 3 residential care homes for rehabilitation and its cooperating private residential care homes.

The Group and the Wong Ting Fong Charitable Foundation also donated $1 million to the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Association to support the operational needs of its residential care homes and rehabilitation homes under the epidemic.

In addition to donating more than 2.8 million sets of rapid antigen detection reagents, as well as 500 sets of remote health monitoring systems and necessities to grassroots friends, the Group also donated to the Hospital Authority and Hong Kong Children's Hospital to support paediatric services.
