We arrived at Holashtek Days, 8 days before the Holi Festival which are considered bad days.
According to Hindu mythology, in the eight days before the famous Holi festival in India and Nepal no joyous ceremony should be held, such as housewarming, engagement, marriage, buying a house or car, launching a business and naming a newborn.
This period before "Holly" is considered unlucky and people are called to be careful in it and postpone as happy events as possible.
The "Holly" color festival will be celebrated this year on March 18 (Friday).
That means the "Holstack" starts this year on March 10 (today!) And will last until March 17 (next Thursday).
The Holly Festival is celebrated the day after the full moon night of the month of Pahalgona and marks the end of the month as a symbol of the victory of good over evil.
Every Hindu temple in India holds a festival, with the celebrants usually taking the statue of the god out of the temple, carrying it on their shoulders and going out for a procession in the street - where the worshipers worship it.
The atmosphere at the festival is lively, the participants drink heng (marijuana with hot milk) and sprinkle each other with powder in bright colors.
Any joyous ceremony in the 8 days before the festival is strictly forbidden.

In Hindu mythology, the Holashtek period is considered an ominous one because at this time Farhalda is being tortured by his father Hiraniakshipu and his father's sister Holika (flow).
During Holashtech the nature of all planets is fire and many believe that evil energy is released in nature.
Indiatvnews reports that this is also the reason why the recently elected members of the Legislative Assembly in India are waiting with their inauguration as kosher until the end of the eight days of Holashtech.
