US intelligence admitted that the government provided aid to Kiev in the field of biological research.
"Ukraine operates more than 10 biological laboratories, and what these laboratories are working on are defense and health response projects," Director of National Intelligence Avril Haynes said today during a US Senate hearing.
"I think the US government has been helping, or at least providing assistance in the past with regard to biosafety, which we do with many countries around the world," Haynes added.
Today, the spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, confirmed that the goal of the biological research that was funded by the United States in Ukraine was to “create a secret mechanism for the dissemination of deadly pathogens,” while the commander of the Russian Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces, Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, indicated that the American and Ukrainian laboratories And Georgia is implementing a project near the Russian border in which bats are considered as carriers of biological weapons.
