US warns of possible use of chemical weapons by Russia

The White House has sounded all the alarms by warning this Wednesday that Russia could be planning to use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine.

The alert came after the information released by Moscow, and branded as "false" by Washington, about the existence of alleged US laboratories for this type of weaponry.

President Joe Biden's spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, has written a series of messages on her official Twitter account in which she also accuses senior Chinese government officials of having echoed this alleged information, which she has defined as "theories of conspiracy".

Everything would be due, according to Psaki, to the search for a pretext: "Now that Russia has made these false accusations, and that China seems to have supported this propaganda, we should be attentive to the possibility that Russia uses chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine".

According to Psaki, this is the type of "disinformation" practiced by Moscow over the years in Ukraine and in other countries.

"Russia has a history of accusing the West of the same violations that Russia itself is perpetrating," warned Psaki, who gave as an example that last December Moscow "falsely accused" Washington of deploying contractors with chemical weapons in Ukraine.

Now that Russia has made these false claims, and China has seemingly endorsed this propaganda, we should all be on the lookout for Russia to possibly use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine, or to create a false flag operation using them.

The White House was thus reacting to the Kremlin's assertions that it has discovered in Ukraine evidence of an "emergency elimination" of traces of an alleged biological-military program.

President Biden's spokeswoman stated that the United States "does not develop or possess" chemical or biological weapons anywhere.

Psaki declared that it is "Russia that has a long history" in the use of this type of weapon prohibited by international conventions.

“This is all an obvious attempt by Russia to try to justify its premeditated, unprovoked and unjustified attack on Ukraine,” she stressed.

From the State Department, the spokesman, Ned Price, also called the Russian accusations "lies" in a statement, in which he assured that "it is not the first time that Moscow accuses the West of the same crimes that Russia itself is committing." committing”.

“Our expectation is that Russia will continue to push these kinds of claims with more baseless accusations,” Price said, stressing that the United States “does not own or operate any chemical or biological laboratories in Ukraine.”

European leaders have repeatedly warned in the last two weeks about the possible use of particularly deadly weapons by Russia, such as "thermobaric vacuum" bombs that cause serious damage to the body due to the intensity of their explosions.
