On Monday, Defense Minister Bnei Gantz called on the world to "stop the Iranian aggression", in the wake of the announcement of the downing of the Iranian drones, and in parallel with talks between Iran and the powers on the nuclear agreement.
"Iranian aggression is done without a nuclear umbrella. For the peace of the world, so now is the time for the world to mobilize to stop it.
We as Israel, as I have already said, will use all our capabilities and means to prevent Iran from becoming an existential threat, "Gantz added.
"The defense system and the entire State of Israel will act by all means at our disposal - political, economic and, if necessary, also military, in order to ensure our sovereignty and the security of the citizens of Israel."
