Noir-lumière
works in his Paris studio .
Ten years later, it will be titled
Outrenoir
.
These surfaces painted in different states of black, worked by tool and brush, with a bas-relief effect, play with light.
"When the reflected light is more intense, the black becomes less black and its surface states more present, more active",
he explained.
In particular, you can admire the work of this mythical French artist today in the museum bearing his name in Rodez.
The city where the painter was born, rue Combarel, from a coachbuilder father one hundred and two years ago.
