The terrifying piece of paper is now being auctioned off.

On May 21, 1945, Nazi leader Heinrich Himmler wrote the sentence “I should take the cleaning device with me” on a note.
Neatly, in ink, over and over again, line by line.
There is a remarkable story behind this sample of writing.
They may be the last lines written by the mass murderer.

With this piece of paper, suspicious British soldiers convicted Heinrich Himmler without a doubt.
The SS Reichsfuhrer and one of those primarily responsible for the Holocaust wanted to go into hiding after the Second World War, but was caught in Bremervörde.
Disguised as a simple soldier, he used forged papers to pretend to be Sergeant Heinrich Hizinger.
After the handwriting test, Himmler committed suicide with a poison capsule.

The note is now being auctioned off at the Richard Winterton auction house and is expected to fetch up to 6,000 euros.
