Car and school bus collide in Lower Bavaria - more than ten injured

Twelve children and adults were injured in a collision between a car and a school bus in Lower Bavaria on Friday.
Essenbach – As the police reported, the 72-year-old driver and her 74-year-old passenger were seriously injured in the accident in Essenbach (Landshut district).
The driver of the 18-ton bus suffered moderate injuries, nine students aged 10 to 16 suffered minor injuries such as shocks from the bus.

According to the current status of the investigation, the driver probably gave the bus the right of way, said a police spokesman.
The district road on which the school bus was traveling was the priority road.
The property damage was estimated at at least 30,000 euros.
