As of Monday, the vaccination pass will no longer be required and wearing a mask will also no longer be compulsory in closed places, with a few exceptions.

The return to pre-Covid life continues.

In public places

The government has chosen March 14 as the end date for the obligation to present the vaccination pass to access all of these places: restaurants, bars, nightclubs, cinemas, theaters, performance halls, museums, stadiums, fairs and lounges.

"

However, the health pass (vaccination certificate, result of a negative test or a certificate of recovery) will still be required at the entrance to hospitals, retirement homes and establishments for the disabled, in order to protect people. the most fragile

”, is it specified on the government website.

Wearing a mask, already lifted in places subject to the vaccination pass since February 28, 2022 such as cinemas or museums, will also no longer be compulsory in closed places such as administrations, public services but also stores.

However, it will remain required in public passenger transport and health establishments.

Wearing a mask remains recommended for positive people and contact cases at risk, symptomatic people and health professionals.

In company

From this Monday, the health protocol will be lifted in companies, which implies the end of the wearing of the compulsory mask in the offices and the distance between the employees in the premises but also in the collective catering.

However, it is still recommended to apply barrier gestures such as washing hands, cleaning surfaces and ventilating the premises.

In February, a reduction in the health protocol in companies had already been decided, and had recorded the return of "

pots

" and other moments of conviviality in the office, in compliance with barrier gestures.

With regard to telework, "

we had already given control to companies

", it therefore already depends on "

rules which are defined in social dialogue within companies

At school

Wearing a mask will no longer be compulsory even in class, including in colleges and high schools, for all students and staff. Students and teachers who wish to do so may however keep it.

Consequently, if one of the students is tested positive, all the unmasked children in the class will be considered as contact cases.

In schools, pupils with contact cases do not have to isolate themselves and must do a single self-test on D + 2, whether they are vaccinated or not.

In middle and high school, unvaccinated contact cases must isolate themselves for seven days and carry out a PCR or antigen screening test before returning to class.

Vaccinated students can remain in class but must self-test on D + 2.

In addition, the new health protocol provides for the end of the limitation of mixing by level or in the canteen, which means that students from different classes will be able to share moments together again.

The new health protocol also provides for the resumption of contact sports, both indoors and outdoors.

It also provides for the end of brewing limits by level or in the canteen.

However, the Ministry of National Education recommends “

initially and as far as possible, to limit excessive mixing between class groups and levels, especially during recreation and restoration times.

The practice of contact sports will also be possible again indoors and outdoors.
