In April the time has come: That's when the traditional store Hauswaren Wild in Erding closes its doors forever.
The regret of the regular customers is great.
Erding - The old town of Erding will soon be poorer by a specialist shop steeped in tradition.
Housewares Wild on Zollnerstraße will close its doors in mid-April.
Many long-established Erdingers regret this. The clearance sale runs until April 23.
The reason for the business closure is by no means poor sales, as owner Max Wild emphasized in an interview with the local newspaper.
Rather, his wife Andrea, who ran the business, wants to change careers.
The heating and plumbing business run by Max Wild is not affected by this decision.

The total clearance sale began yesterday, Thursday, with a 20 percent discount on all items from well-known manufacturers.
And there are many of them.
Anyone who needed something for their household went to the game: crockery, pots, pans, boards, knives, large and small kitchen appliances and utensils, but also decorative and gift items as well as cookery and baking books were available in the shop, which also has a spacious basement has a large selection.
The Wild family informed the regular customers in advance by letter and invited them to regular customer days with discounts since the beginning of the week.
The letter says, among other things: "It was not an easy decision, but we will close our household specialty store in the center of Erding in mid-April."

Wild emphasizes that the decision was not made at short notice: "We've been thinking about it for a few years." Sales have been very good, "people have been cooking and baking even more since Corona.
Everything was fine financially.”
By the way: everything from the region is also available in our regular Erding newsletter.
According to Wild, two full-time employees who were informed at an early stage are also affected by the closure.
Another full-time employee has retired and another is on maternity leave.
How the business premises will be used in the future has not yet been decided.
But house owner Max Wild hopes that an attractive shop will move in again.
