Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh announced that the Vienna talks between Iran and the 4+1 group have been temporarily suspended, considering that this represents a pause that paves the way for the settlement of the remaining issues and the final return.
In a tweet on Twitter today, Khatibzadeh said that success in the dialogue will be the main focus for all parties, and that any external factor will not affect the common will to move towards a collective agreement.
It is noteworthy that the eighth round of talks in Vienna began on the 27th of last December, where the participants completed the draft text of the agreement and decided on some contentious issues.
Reports from Vienna indicated that these talks reached a critical stage that obliges the Western parties to take political decisions to resolve the final agreement.
