This should please many folk festival fans: the "Hallberger Wiesn" is taking place again this year after a two-year break.
The mayor has now announced this.
Hallbergmoos
- The municipality of Hallbergmoos has agreed to hold its traditional Hallberg Wiesn again this year after a two-year break.
Despite the tragic events in Ukraine, Mayor Josef Niedermair wrote in a statement that "a courageous accent should be set and hope spread".
“Hope in the sense that all people are equal and can come together peacefully.
Folk festival in Hallbergmoos takes place from April 20th to 24th, 2022
This is also the case at the Hallberger Wiesn”, which is to take place from April 20th to 24th.
The municipality does not want to organize an indoor bar due to the events.
Furthermore, instead of the folk festival run, a charity run for the Ukraine is planned.
Further support options are currently being examined in detail by the administration.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
"In addition, the corona pandemic is not over yet," emphasizes Niedermair.
Therefore, one also wants to ensure the highest possible security during the Hallberger Wiesn.
"We are developing a suitable concept together with the public festival host Alexander Tremmel, who will support us again this year as a host and will be there for the public festival visitors in the tried and tested way."
