The big revue to mark the 1000th anniversary of the Kaiser's visit to Inning will probably have to be postponed for the third time.

At least that is what emerges after the spring meeting of the clubs on Wednesday.

Finally, the working group "Wir sind Kaiser" is to decide, because not all participating clubs took part in the spring meeting.

The Ammersee community wanted to celebrate the anniversary in a big way (we reported), because "you can't postpone the day," Jutta Göbber stated soberly and disappointed a year ago.

A change of date was unavoidable because of the pandemic.

The chairwoman of the Inning local history association is the driving force behind the anniversary celebrations.

The libretto for the big revue was already ready and had to be stamped into an overture due to the infection.

But in the end only an illumination of the so-called Kaiserhaus on the market square remained of the overture.

The big festival had to be completely postponed with skyrocketing incidences - the overture to May of this year, the revue to October.

That was the plan.

Now everything looks as if the revue will have to be postponed again - to spring 2023, the anniversary doesn't seem to matter now, because it's in November.

The overture is to be performed next November – instead of in May.

At the spring meeting, Jutta Göbber spoke of a small solution that also had advantages.

You don't need the entire multi-purpose hall, only half, and the hall is only used for three days - not a whole week.

The new postponement was triggered by a collision that the composer and music school teacher Martin Vogel drew attention to, said Kaisertraum co-author Bärbl Mehnert-Jäger.

Because the Pentecost holidays follow directly, "many are already on vacation".

In the further course, the idea was born to postpone the revue and to perform the small version, the overture, in October for the benefit of neighborhood aid.

It's celebrating its 50th anniversary.

If the revue were performed instead, all the work for the overture would be in vain,

In addition, Katrin Nill-Junick from the gospel choir "For Heavens's Sake Singers" announced at the spring meeting that the ensemble would not have time to start rehearsals before September because the singers would like to concentrate on their own autumn concert after a two-year Corona break .

But the singers are an integral part of both the revue and the overture.

Jutta Göbber only wants to make a final decision when everyone involved in the working group is sitting around the table.

But the trend is clear: the overture will be rescheduled as a benefit event in October, and the revue will be celebrated in spring 2023.
