At about 11 am today (12th), an industrial accident occurred at the third run site of Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok Airport.
A male worker was accidentally stabbed in the hip by an iron stick while working, and other workers reported the case for help.
Rescue workers saw off the iron branch after receiving the report. The injured person was taken to the Eastern District Hospital by helicopter for treatment. The male worker was sent to the hospital with the iron branch inserted into his body.
