According to Dun & Bradstreet, law firms specializing in the capital market have reached numbers not seen since 1993.

Over the weekend, Dun & Bradstreet unveiled the law firms' ranking for 2022 by area of activity.

This is the 18th year that such a ranking has been published, based on a set of data, including material files, a list of clients, a list of lawyers working in the field, senior partner experience, information on precedent judgments, reputation testing through interviews with industry leaders and other criteria.

In each niche, the offices were ranked according to quality groups - the leaders are in Tire (quality group) 1, the most prominent offices in Tire 2 and the well-known offices in Tire 3.

The leading offices in Tir 1 in the field of high-tech are (no meaning to order): Ardinst Ben Natan Tolidano & Co. with Hamburger Evron, Goldfarb Seligman & Co., Gornitzky & Co., Gross & Co., Horn & Co., Hirsch Falk & Co., Herzog Fox Ne'eman , Yigal Arnon & Co., Meitar, Nashitz Brands Amir & Co., Amit Polak Matalon & Co., Piran Wilensky Mizrahi Canaani, Fischer, Pearl Cohen Tzedek Letzer Baretz, Raz Dlogin & Co. and Shiblat & Co.

As for the high-tech effects on the legal industry, Dun & Bradstreet reports that 2021 has led to many achievements in Israeli high-tech.

Fundraising has totaled $ 25.6 billion in 773 transactions.

This is an increase of 146% compared to the amount raised a year earlier.

The high-tech departments have grown this year and the number of lawyers has jumped by 11% compared to last year.

Law firms specializing in the capital market do not remember such a busy year, with figures not seen since 1993. The growth in the number of companies (28%) is the second largest in the world.

The number of companies traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange stands at about 540, the highest since 2012. There were also Israeli issues on the Nasdaq, with 20 of the technology companies' total issues crossing the $ 1 billion mark.

Efrat Segev, VP of Data and Analysis at Dun & Bradstreet, explained to "Israel Today": "Every year we receive thousands of submissions for the ranking.

The differences are in the scope of activity, but in the end, anyone who has managed to get on the list is a leader in their field.

The rating we made is a quality rating and the result of months of work.

We held hundreds of meetings and received a lot of material about the customers and the scope of the transactions.

It is built on a very in-depth acquaintance.

"One of the things that stood out was the high-tech field, which exploded in Israel. The high-tech departments have almost doubled. What is special about the legal industry is that they accompany everything that happens in the Israeli industry. Quite a few offices that specialize in this. "
