Ofira Asaig's severe rebuke written live on her radio show reminded me, like many others in the industry, of serious behaviors that should disappear from the world.
Somewhere, in the early 2000s, I was an ambitious soldier with endless motivation in the GLC.
On two of the opportunities I was given (the third time I was repressed) to produce two of the most requested shows on the station, I caught screams that resonate in my ears to this day.
In the first case it was a well-known and beloved presenter, who above the waves of the site had the most pleasant and patient voice.
Behind the scenes the sound and tones were replaced by harsh and offensive screams.
The transition between the pleasant and threatening voice took place, for example, on mornings when not all the three newspapers that were waiting for them arrived at the station.
In the second case it was a producer who was a total of two years older than me, but probably felt comfortable enough to take advantage of my "youth" and call me on a sick day to blame horrible screams for a mistake she made herself.
This text has no names because its purpose is not to close accounts.

To mention that threats and abuse exist - and tons.
Many media and television people like to report inappropriate behaviors, but when it comes to them, everything goes.
Abuse, harassment, intimidation and high tones have in the past been legitimate and found in every work environment.
Some of them until very recently and in very leading bodies, quite a few times precisely from the direction of senior women towards their facts.
Thanks to the struggle of MeToo and the like, over the years the phenomenon has become smaller, and those who do not face it find themselves thrown out.
In 2022, and this is clear to everyone, there is no room for these discourse and style.
To be precise, they never had a place, but only today did we learn to stand up for ours and the treatment we deserve.
By the way, thanks certainly also go to Ofira, who in less than a minute reminded everyone what should not be said to the employee, including herself.
Almost 20 years have passed since the screams I got.
I met the first screamer a few years ago with the newspaper you are holding in your hand, open on an article I wrote.
I was debating whether to remind him of those mornings, but then I remembered that karma has done its thing and he has not broadcast on the radio for quite a few years.
