At the Bockhorn municipal council meeting on Thursday evening, this topic prompted a discussion in connection with the new Kirchasch-Mitte development plan.

The first row of houses is only separated from the sports area by a street and a few parking spaces.

For this reason, the commissioned engineering office had specialists draw up a so-called noise prognosis with an examination of whether "active noise protection measures" could become necessary here.

The investigation showed that the limit values ​​of the state protection ordinance can be complied with during the day up to 10 p.m. without having to set up noise protection walls there.

Mayor Lorenz Angermaier said: "A previously planned noise protection wall was thus removed from the planning for the construction area, and the course of the street will also be adapted to the new situation." clock may be used.

"This means that noise barriers are no longer required for approval of the new development plan," explained Angermaier.

However, some municipal councils were not quite comfortable with this strict rejection.

Annelie Hinterwimmer (FW), Hubert Strasser (Bürgerliste Kirchasch) and Klaus Oehm (Grünbacher Liste), for example, argued that it could make sense to "fill up a low mound of earth, one to one and a half meters high, with some vegetation" between the sports grounds and houses. , in order to insulate possible noise and to avoid later trouble with residents.

His parliamentary colleague Bernhard Stein referred to the report and pointed out that "every property developer knows in advance where he is building".

Finally, architect Helmut Kaiser, who lives in Kirchasch himself, was asked for professional advice.

"With our new planning of the construction area, we have now created more distance between the sports grounds and residential buildings, and the sports fields are also lower than the street and houses.

So along with the report, a lot of conditions have been met,” he said.

However, in the final vote, not all 16 municipal councils wanted to agree with this opinion, four of them still advocate at least a certain level of noise protection.

However, there was agreement on the possible use of an area of ​​five plots: The community wants to keep all options open here and is considering building a commercial building there with local supply for the entire district.
