The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus Countryside, Saer Shiha, explained that the seized cylinders belong to a store that has a license to distribute gas, and links were seized to transport gas liquid to empty (doors) inside the store without having a license for that, pointing out that the car was transferred to the headquarters of Al-Kiswah district, and the weight of the entire quantity was in the presence of a manager The district and the head of the Kiswa city council.
Shiha pointed out that, by examination and audit, it was found that there are 295 cylinders with a regular weight of 24 kilograms per cylinder and seven empty cylinders, in addition to 23 cylinders with excess weights from 26 to 30 kilograms in order to take advantage of the weight difference either in filling (babyware) or empty cylinders and selling them to citizens and achieving non-material gains. legitimate than that.
Shiha pointed out that after seizing the seized quantities, those involved were referred to the competent judiciary, and investigations are still ongoing regarding the excess weight and its source.
