The Israelis did not beep: a convoy of geese stopped traffic on Ayalon lanes
Two adult geese and several chicks that went for a walk in the convoy today stopped the movement north of the Galilee.
A police car arrived at the scene and the police went out to rescue the wing owners.
The drivers responded with uncharacteristic tolerance, and there were even some who tried to help the police direct the geese to a safe place.

In the middle of the day: Ayalon lanes blocked to traffic - due to a convoy of geese (Editing: Aviad Ballali)
Drivers who took the opportunity this afternoon (Saturday) with their cars to Ayalon lanes, about a kilometer north of the Glilot interchange, were astonished to discover an unusual sight.
A convoy of geese that decided to cross the busy lanes caused a traffic jam in the main traffic artery of Gush Dan.
The flock of geese, which apparently included a father, mother and a few small chicks, made its way across the road, and to prevent them from being hit, a police car arrived on the scene.
The mobile blocked the lanes and the police went out to rescue the ducklings and help them reach the area without cars that would endanger them.

Quite surprisingly, perhaps as a result of the fact that it was a Saturday, the drivers, who usually react angrily to any traffic delay, were patient in the face of the bizarre spectacle.
The drivers encouraged the policemen who made efforts to save the six winged men, and there were even some who tried to assist the police.
After a short delay, the geese managed to reach a safe place unharmed.
