Minister of Defense of Ukraine: Israel's position in the war will damage trust between the two countries
Alexei Reznikov, who, like President Zlansky, is also Jewish, criticized Israel's position on the Russian invasion.
According to him, the fact that she does not take a clear position will cause a breach of trust in the coming years.
"Israel is showing disconnection and a reluctance to choose a side in the war," he said

Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov, who, like President Volodymyr Zlansky, is also Jewish, said in a video he circulated over social media over the weekend that the fact that Israel is not taking a clear stance against the Russian invasion would undermine trust with Ukraine in the coming years.
"Israel is showing an inexplicable disconnect and a reluctance to choose a side in the war in Ukraine. This will cause growing distrust for many, many years (with Ukraine) because our sigh will win - no doubt. With you or without you," he said.
"What can you do? You are very influential in your countries and region. In Israel, you can express your position more actively."
Reznikov headed the Ukrainian delegation to a ceasefire with Russia that took place on the border between Ukraine and Belarus.

Earlier in the day, President Zalansky said he had suggested that Prime Minister Naftali Bennett hold talks with Russia in Jerusalem, Reuters reported.
Zalansky further said that he hopes Bennett will have a positive impact on the talks between the parties.
Zalansky made the remarks after a senior Ukrainian official, Bennett, recommended that Zalanski accept Putin's demand.
The President of Ukraine added that Israel can provide security guarantees to its country.
"I believe Bennett can play an important role," Zlansky said at a press conference in Kiev.
"This is because Israel is a country with a history that has many parallels to our situation. In addition, it has a large population of immigrants from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus."
