Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed during a telephone conversation today with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz the latest developments in Ukraine.
The Russian presidency said in a statement that Putin briefed Macron and Scholz, during a tripartite phone call, on the reality of the humanitarian situation in the areas of the Russian operation in Ukraine, in addition to the results of virtual meetings that took place in the form of a video conference in recent days between Russian and Ukrainian officials.

The statement noted that Putin urged Macron and Scholz to influence the Kyiv authorities to put an end to such criminal acts.
According to the statement, the three leaders reviewed some issues related to the agreements in progress regarding the implementation of known Russian demands and agreed to continue their contacts regarding the Ukrainian file.
