Syrian students studying in Egypt presented a cultural segment, folk performances and dances from the Syrian national heritage, during their participation today in the activities of the Festival of Peoples' Cultures organized by Ain Shams University.
The Syrian participation in the festival was well received by the participants, the organizing committee and Ain Shams University professors.
The head of the Egypt branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, Dr. Abdullah Al-Junaid, said that the Syrian participation in the festival comes with the aim of civilized communication with the participating peoples and countries, displaying the Syrian culture, and displaying food, clothing and folk arts specific to each country.
Al-Junaid pointed out that the Syrian students presented an honorable model for the country, pointing out that all the participants in the festival noted the importance of the Syrian participation, which presented to everyone the true face of the Syrian civilization.
In turn, a member of the leadership of the Egypt branch of the National Union of Syrian Students and head of the Student Affairs Office, Zaher Sheikh Musa, noted the importance of the Syrian participation in the Festival of Peoples’ Cultures, through which Syrian students communicate with everyone to emphasize the messages of love that Syria carries to the world, which confirms that it is a beacon of civilization.
In turn, the student at the Faculty of Education at Ain Shams University Alaa Moussa said during the speech of the Syrian student delegation at the festival that Syria is the oldest capital in history that has taken its prominent position in science, culture, politics, literature and the arts.
