Russian soldiers on Friday fired at civilians using an evacuation corridor near Kiev, killing 7 people including a child, Ukrainian military intelligence said on Facebook on Saturday.

,” said this source, explaining that these civilians were being evacuated through a corridor approved in advance between the belligerents.

These people were trying to leave the village of Peremoha to join that of Gostroluchchia, about 36 km from the north-eastern suburbs of Kiev.

The noose is tightening on Kiev
Russian forces continue to tighten the noose on Kiev.
They are also continuing to bombard other Ukrainian cities, notably affecting several hospitals in Mykolaiv and the strategic port city of Mariupol, already devastated by nearly two weeks of siege.
On Wednesday, a pediatric hospital and a maternity hospital were hit in this southeastern city, killing three and injuring many more.
These attacks on civilians have sparked a new wave of accusations that Russia is committing war crimes.
Vladimir Putin in return accused Ukrainian forces of “
flagrant violations
” of humanitarian law on Saturday, during a telephone call with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
