Many highlights are planned - such as a wine festival or a costume parade.
Dietramszell – plan B is not enough.
Anyone planning a major event in times of a pandemic should have at least three event variants up their sleeve.
"We don't know whether there will be 2G, 3G or no restriction at all in summer," says Georg Lindmeyr.
He is chairman of the Edelweiß traditional costume association, which was founded 125 years ago.
That should be celebrated.
That much is certain.

Six months ago, the 40-strong organizing committee began preparations.
In the best case, according to her plan, there will be a whole week of celebrations in July: with a wine festival, cabaret, bar, brass band music and rock'n'roll.
And of course with a big costume parade and a field service for the highlight of the festival on Sunday.
The whole thing is to take place directly after the Leonhardifest, which had to be canceled in the last two years due to the pandemic.
"The marquee has been ordered, the contracts with the musicians have been signed," reports Lindmeyr.
1,500 people can be accommodated in the tent, which is to be used for both the Lehards and the Trachtler anniversary.
Whether and if so under what conditions so many guests will be able to come together in about four months, nobody knows at the moment.
In the event that the 3G rule applies at this point in time - vaccinated, recovered or tested - the Trachtler have taken precautions.
Three test stations are planned in Schönegg, within walking distance of the festival site at the Leonhardi chapel.
According to Lindmeyr, a security company should carry out the admission controls at the marquee so that cheating doesn't stand a chance.

"Maybe we don't need all that at all," he hopes, "when there are no more restrictions in the summer." But he doesn't really want to believe in it.
However, it would be difficult if only those who had been vaccinated and those who had recovered were allowed into the tent.
"Then we'll celebrate outdoors and only with our own people." The tent rental had already signaled that it was not available under 2G conditions.

The contracts with the musicians were also concluded subject to the applicable Corona rules, reports Lindmeyr.
The "own people" include around 350 members.
The Edelweiß traditional costume association is the oldest of the four traditional costume associations in the municipality.
In the district, only the Isarwinkler in Bad Tölz are four years longer.
As far as the average age of the members is concerned, he is one of the youngest.
He's definitely under 30 years old, says the board: "I'm the senior at 56." The anniversary planning is correspondingly modern: "It's really rocking.
The youngsters don't like a hometown evening.” Nevertheless, there is plenty of tradition with plattler performances, brass band music and a traditional costume parade.
Corona makes festival planning difficult - traditional costume association Edelweiß optimistic
A highlight for Lindmeyr is the Schafkopf League, which is to be revived on Saturday, July 23 after a two-year Corona break: “The whole village is there, from the 13-year-old grandson to the 80-year-old grandfather.” For The association offers a three-day ticket for party-goers in particular: Admission to the evening events from Thursday to Saturday costs 29 euros, including a beer.

A total of 21 clubs have been invited to the celebrations.
How many visitors actually come - even if the Corona rules allow such a big party - is difficult to estimate.
"Some are still anxious," believes Lindmeyr.
"We plan with plus minus 1000, but can react at short notice if there are more." The traditional costumers are optimistic that their organizational work was not in vain and that their anniversary in 2022 can be properly celebrated.
Plan B is there in two senses: That's the name of the rock band that's supposed to create a party atmosphere in the marquee on Saturday evening.
