Another big peace demonstration against Russia's war

Thousands of people once again took to the streets in Berlin at a large peace demonstration against Russia's war in Ukraine.
They gathered on Sunday afternoon at Alexanderplatz and walked towards the Brandenburg Gate.
The demonstration continued to attract large numbers of people even after it had started.
A specific number of participants has not yet been determined.
Berlin – Among the demonstrators were young and old people, families with children also took part.
Some had balloons in blue and yellow, the colors of Ukraine.
Others carried self-described banners reading "Stop War," "Peace," "Where's the vaccine against war," and insulting Russian President Vladimir Putin.
550 police officers were on duty.
The mood was peaceful, most of the participants wore corona masks.

On February 27, three days after the start of the war, more than 100,000 people demonstrated in Berlin.
An alliance of organizers made up of trade unions, churches, environmental protection initiatives and peace groups had again announced so many participants for Sunday.
The motto of the demonstration was: "Stop the war.
Peace and solidarity for the people of Ukraine”.
In Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Leipzig, too, people wanted to take to the streets against the war on Sunday.
