End of the vaccination pass: what changes for your trips on March 14

2022-03-13T13:17:31.796Z

This document is no longer required to take a train or plane in France. Going abroad, everything depends on the rules of the country of destination.

Despite a number of contaminations which has started to rise again in recent days, the vaccination pass is suspended in all places where it was required from this Monday, March 14 (except health establishments), as announced by Prime Minister Jean Castex on March 3.

When traveling in France, you no longer need to draw proof of vaccination or recovery certificate to enter a museum, go to a restaurant or enjoy the spa of your hotel.

It will also no longer be compulsory to wear a mask inside these public places.

In

transport

, the vaccination pass will therefore no longer be required to take a domestic flight (including to Corsica and overseas), a coach or an interregional train (TGV inOui, Ouigo and Intercités) or the ski lifts.

Everyone will again be able to use these modes of transport without any restrictions, including people who are not immune (neither vaccinated nor cured) against Covid-19.

Wearing a mask nevertheless remains compulsory in transport until further notice, "

given the promiscuity

", underlined Jean Castex.

To abroad, the rule of the country of destination applies

When it comes to

international journeys

, travelers must always comply with the rules of the country of destination.

In other words, the vaccination or health pass is always required if you go to a country that still applies it, regardless of the mode of transport used.

It may be necessary both to cross the border and to access certain places once there.

In Italy, for example, the

super green pass

is always requested at the entrance to restaurants or museums.

In Europe, a few countries have lifted all restrictions on entering their territory.

This is the case of Ireland, Iceland and Lithuania.

To travel to these countries, only the usual travel documents (identity card or passport) are required, while health documents related to Covid-19 are no longer required.

Entry requirements are detailed on our regularly updated map.
