Head of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin directed an investigation into the mass massacre of civilians in the Bubasnainsk region of the Lugansk People's Republic.
"Units of the People's Police of the Luhansk Republic, after the escape of Kyiv forces and their Nazi factions in the area of the train station in the town of Bubasnainsk, discovered traces of a mass massacre of their civilian victims," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the committee as saying in a statement today.
The statement added, "The head of the investigation committee issued his instructions to investigate the circumstances of the mass massacre of civilians."
The Command of the People's Forces of the Lugansk Republic announced earlier today that it had discovered sites where the Ukrainians had carried out killings of civilians by using them as human shields, in the Bubasnyanskaya railway area.
