Former US President Donald Trump is proposing to the current incumbent, Biden, to threaten Vladimir Putin with US nuclear weapons in the Ukraine war.
South Carolina – One cannot help but comment on the Ukraine conflict*: Former US President Donald Trump.
Trump has been expressing his opinion on all events since the start of Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine, and of course he has his sights set on his successor, President Joe Biden.
Trump repeatedly criticizes Biden's actions and hits with bizarre ideas.
After initially claiming that the Russian invasion would never have happened under his presidency, he later proposed that American troops could invade Russia under the Chinese flag.
At an event in South Carolina, Trump unpacks the next hammer.
Trump on Biden: "Neither feared nor respected"
Donald Trump gives a one-hour speech to many of his supporters.
He uses this to repeatedly dig at Joe Biden and to criticize.
The United States was "neither feared nor respected" under Biden.
He reports on the high investments in the American military during his tenure and emphasizes: "We have brand new nuclear weapons".
Trump expresses incomprehension that Biden has not long since threatened Kremlin boss Putin with his own nuclear power.
According to Trump, the only correct behavior is: "Let everyone know that we have it bigger and better and stronger than them".
By that he probably means that Biden should make it clear to Putin that the USA is just as well equipped with nuclear power as Russia.
The Kremlin has already made clear threatening gestures about the sanctions imposed by the West against Russia and the use of nuclear weapons has been floated.
Trump rails against foreign policy
In his speech, Donald Trump presented himself as a great diplomat and as someone who could talk to Putin.
"No one has ever been tougher in Russia than me," Trump claims.
In order to solve the Ukraine war, the American State Department was to be “cleaned up”.
According to Trump, this is “rotten to the core”.
According to Trump, continuing to follow Biden's path could lead to a third world war.
In his speech, the ex-president spoke out against the "Russian invasion" and paid his respects to the Ukrainian people, but once again there was no clear condemnation of Russian President Putin.
