The Directorate of Technical Services in Tartous Governorate has been opening roads in various villages and mountainous areas since yesterday, Saturday, as a result of the accumulation of snow in them due to the depression that the governorate is exposed to.
Engineer Ahmed Suleiman, director of technical services in the governorate, said in a statement to SANA reporter that since yesterday morning, the mechanisms and cadres of the Directorate accompanying them have been moved to the villages of Beit Jash / Al-Shandha / Sheikh Ali Al-Majdal Masyat Road / belonging to Baniyas area, in addition to the villages of Al-Hatria, Al-Tawahin and Ain Qadib / in the area Al-Qadmus and Al-Raqma village in the Sheikh Badr area, where the roads in those villages were completely opened.
Suleiman indicated that with the continuation of the depression and the renewal of the weather today with the early morning hours, they went to the villages / Deir al-Jurd, Ram Tarza and the Drakeish Masyaf road / in addition to the mentioned villages, where work continues to open and isolate the roads in them as a result of the accumulation of snow to become impassable in front of its visitors, calling on drivers to the necessity Take care while heading to these areas and drive carefully to ensure their safety.
