The mountain rescue service had to deal with twelve missions over the weekend - three of them with helicopter support.

It was about fallen skiers and hikers who were stuck on the steep slope.

Lenggries – The weather at the weekend was wonderful, so there was a lot going on in the mountains.

The mountain rescue service had to deal with a total of twelve missions.

The first led the rescuers on Saturday at 8.40 a.m. to the Ahorn run on the Brauneck.

As reported, two skiers collided there.

"The afternoon passed quietly and was limited to three assistance with cut injuries," says the press report.

"It's easy to get injured, especially from sharp ski edges or rough sheets of ice."

Last mission on Saturday is an injured child

The last operation took place around 4.30 p.m., when the Wolfratshausen mountain rescue service was just completing the final patrol.

A child suffered a knee injury in a fall and had to be taken down into the valley.

On Sunday morning, the volunteer mountain rescuers treated a knee injury on the Schrödelstein.

Just a few minutes later, a 52-year-old fell on the Schrödelstein run and suffered an open soft-tissue injury to his leg.

The rescue helicopter Christoph 1 brought Heilbrunner to the clinic in Bad Tölz.

A 13-year-old who had injured his shoulder in a fall was flown to the clinic with the rescue helicopter.

The helicopter was in action again in the afternoon.

At around 1:45 p.m., a 13-year-old complained of severe pain in his shoulder after a fall.

An emergency doctor on standby in Wolfratshausen was brought to the scene of the accident by quad bike from Latschenkopf.

Almost at the same time, a second emergency doctor arrived by helicopter.

Both cared for the boy before he was flown to the accident clinic.

At 3:35 p.m., the rescuers received an emergency call from a 27-year-old who had pain in her knee after a fall on the Schrödelstein.

She was cared for and taken to the valley.

Am Schönberg: The couple is stuck in demanding terrain

The rescuers not only had to take care of skiers, but also of hikers in need.

In the afternoon, a couple went off the trail on a hike on the Schönberg.

The two fell into a steep slope.

Without orientation in the demanding terrain, the two 53-year-olds called the mountain rescue service shortly after 3 p.m.

Two emergency services drove them to the end of the forest road, then they continued on foot.

The couple was led out of the difficult terrain with a rope railing.

Exhausted but unharmed, the two reached the valley.

Helicopter saves two women from Munich from steep terrain

Around 4 p.m., two hikers had to be rescued from difficult terrain on the Seekar.

The two women were on their way from Seekarkreuz to Tegernseer Hütte when they lost their way.

The location of the Munich women could easily be determined by locating the mobile phone.

In order to get the two out of their predicament before it got dark, the operations manager called for a police helicopter to rescue them by winch.

At the sports field in Lenggries, the helicopter took two more rescuers from the Lenggries mountain rescue service on board, who brought the women individually out of the dangerous steep slope.

"They clearly underestimated the situation and were poorly equipped for this time of year," said the mountain rescue service.

The operation ended at around 6 p.m.
