All SHAPE courses are jointly taught by overseas and local lecturers. Students gain professional knowledge and important market information from both places and broaden their horizons.
Graduation certificates are directly awarded by overseas/mainland universities and recognized locally.
All of SHAPE's UK and Australian courses have been awarded the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework Level 5 (QF Level 5)^, which is equivalent to a bachelor's degree from a local university.
Graduates can pursue employment overseas or locally.

Strong Employment Competitiveness
The SHAPE course is close to the needs of the workplace. Students can improve their competitiveness in employment by simulating the actual work environment and assignments.
Most of the engineering courses are accredited by local and overseas professional societies, such as the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modelling (HKIBIM), the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Engineers Australia, etc. To help graduates obtain professional qualifications and develop their careers.
Many SHAPE graduates have been employed in leading companies and government departments in the industry, and have successfully progressed to master's programmes at local or overseas universities.

• After completing the Associate Degree in Surveying at CityU, proceed to the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) (Honours) programme jointly offered by SHAPE and RMIT University in Australia²
• After graduation, be recognized for membership in professional societies, including the Royal Chartered Surveyor Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and the Royal Chartered Institute of Construction; after accumulating experience, he obtained the qualification of Registered Professional Surveyor (Quantity Surveying).
