The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior announced that a number of roads in the governorates of Damascus countryside, Homs, Lattakia, Tartous, Hama, Quneitra and Sweida are impassable or difficult to pass due to the accumulation of snow or the formation of ice.
And the Traffic Department indicated in its bulletin this morning that the road to Arna, Qalaat Jandal-Baqasem in the Qatana area in the Damascus suburbs, was walking with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow.
Homs Governorate.. Dahr Al-Qusair Shin Rabah road is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
Lattakia Governorate.. Roads leading to and from Silfeh district, Muzayra’a General Road, Ain al-Dar and Deir Mama, Muzayra’a al-Sarraj Road, Muzayra’a al-Sarraj Road, Karam al-Ma’asra, Jubbet Bergal, Al-Haffah Qasbah Aramo General Road, Ain al-Tineh General Road, Basta al-Hajar Levin, al-Hajar General Road, Salnefa, Jubbet Burgal al-Ghab Road, and Jubat Burgal Road. The Jubah Burghal Qardaha, the Jubat Burghal road, the Misitra harf, the jungle, the al-Musitra road, the column of Ain al-Hayat, the Markiya road, the shrines of Bani Hashem, Astamna, and a public road to Beit Yashut, the jungle is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
All roads leading to Hammam al-Qarahleh district are passable except for Hammam al-Qarahleh road, Kharayeb Salem Bastawir, and all roads leading to Beit Yashout district and Ain al-Sharqiya road in Trias Qarn Haliah are impassable due to the accumulation of snow. Snow accumulation.
Tartous Governorate.. Al-Anazah Al-Tun Al-Jard Al-Farroukhiya Al-Jadida Khirbat Al-Sindianah Road, Masyit Al-Shandha Road, Beit Gash Nahl Al-Jard Road, and Sheikh Ali Al-Majdal Road in the Baniyas area are impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In the Qadmous area, the Qadmous road to the mills, and all the roads leading to the al-Tawahin district, and the Qadmous road to Masyaf are impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In the Safita area, the Kafr Gawaya highway, the Soliman Fortress, the broadcasting station is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
Hama Governorate.. Shatah, Jubbet-Bargal road, Ain al-Krum road, Qardah, Gorin, Salnefa, Masyaf, Qadmous, al-Haylonah, Shiha, Tayr, Jubbah, Wadi al-Oyoun, al-Bireh, Qusiya, Ain Halaqim road, Ain al-Shams, Burchin, and Nahr al-Bared road, Beit Yashout, which are difficultly passable due to the accumulation of snow.
Quneitra Governorate.. Khan Arnabeh road is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
As-Suwayda Governorate.. Shahba Namira Road, Shahba Ghayda Road, Umm Dhabeeb Namira Tema Road, and the roads leading to Al-Mashnaf sub-district are impassable due to the formation of snow.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to exercise caution during the prevailing weather conditions, especially during the formation of snow or the occurrence of frost, fog and precipitation, and the need to ensure the technical readiness of the vehicle, adhere to the speed limit signs, and maintain a real safety distance with other vehicles.
