The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior announced that a number of roads in the governorates of Damascus Countryside, Lattakia, Tartous, Hama, Quneitra and Sweida are impassable or impassable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow or the formation of ice.
The Traffic Department indicated in its bulletin this evening the condition of the roads as follows:
Rif Dimashq Governorate.. Arna Road “Jandal Castle” in Qassem Salek with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow.
Lattakia Governorate … The Jubat Bergal Road “Al-Ghab”, the Jubbet Bergal Road “Slanfeh” The Jubbet Bergal Road “Qardaha”, the Jubbet Bergal Road” The Musitarah “Al-Qardah” The Jungle, The Harf Al-Masitra Road “The Column” Ain Al-Hayat And The Markiya Road “Maqamat Bani Hashem” We ran impassable due to the accumulation of snow Beit Yashout Al-Manizla road is difficult due to the formation of snow.
Tartous Governorate.. Al-Anazah Road “Nahl Al-Jurd” “Masiyat” Sheikh Ali Al-Majdal is impassable due to the accumulation of snow and all roads leading to the mills district in the Qadmous area are impassable due to the formation of snow.
Hama Governorate.. Shatah Road “Jobat Bargal” and “Ain al-Krum” Road “Qaranda” “Gorin” and Masyaf Road “Qadmus” al-Hailuna “Shiha” “Tayr Jubbeh” “Wadi al-Ayoun” “al-Bireh” Qusayya and Ain Halaqim Road “Ain al-Shams” “Brashin” and Nahr al-Bared Road “Beit Yashout” Impassable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow.
Quneitra Governorate.. Khan Arnabeh Road “It was impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
As-Suwayda Governorate.. Shahba “Namirah” road, Shahba “Ghaydah” road, Umm Dhabeeb “Namera” Tema road, and the roads leading to Al-Mashnaf sub-district are impassable due to the formation of ice.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to exercise caution during the prevailing weather conditions, especially during the formation of snow or the occurrence of frost, fog and precipitation, and the need to ensure the technical readiness of the vehicle, adhere to the speed limit signs, and maintain a real safety distance with other vehicles.
