The Technical Committee for Body Building in Homs held the governorate championship in the youth category, with the participation of 25 players from the Karama and Police clubs and a number of sports houses.
The weights championship resulted in the victory of Amer Bahader, weight 65 kg, Yamen Qassem, weight 75 kg, and Muhammad Awad, weight 85 kg.
Committee Chairman Omar Derby explained in a statement to SANA that the game in the governorate is still new and needs more time and effort to spread more because it is financially costly, which limits the players’ interest in playing it, indicating the importance of holding training courses to rehabilitate the game’s cadres in the governorate.
