There is a huge selection of campsites* for an eventful – or relaxing – camping holiday.
From the Mecklenburg Lake District to the mountain scenery in Upper Austria, you can make yourself comfortable in nature and let your soul dangle.
But which campsite should it be now?
The "camping.info Awards" offer you a selection aid.
Every year - and in 2022 for the eleventh time - the audience prize is awarded based on the ratings of campers.
More than 228,000 ratings from over 150,000 campers have produced the top 110 campsites in Europe this time.

Guest satisfaction and the number and timeliness of camper reviews play a particularly important role in the ranking.
Campingpark Kühlungsborn in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
occupies the top spot

Holidaymakers appreciate the family friendliness above all, but also the great location on the Baltic Sea.
It is followed by the
Grubhof in Austria
, which has had top rankings for several years.
Rosenfelder Strand Ostee Camping
is in third place

Overall, numerous German campsites were once again able to secure good ratings from holidaymakers.

In addition to the top 10, there are also campsites that stand out in special categories.
The “Naturist Family Sport and Nature Camp Sonnensee” campsite, for example, is
praised by holidaymakers for its
excellent value for money .
According to the reviews, anyone who wants to camp with their dog is in good hands at the “Walkyrien Camping & Ostseeferienpark” in Schleswig-Holstein.
The "50plus Campingpark Fisching" in Styria, on the other hand, is perfect for seniors.
