The consumer price index rose by 0.7% in February 2022. Since the beginning of the year, the consumer price index has risen by 0.9% and in the last twelve months, ie in February 2022 compared to February 2021, the consumer price index has risen by 3.5%.

Significant price increases were recorded in items of fresh vegetables and fruits, which increased by 5.3%, transportation, which increased by 1.9%, maintenance of the apartment, which increased by 1.1%, and food, which increased by 0.6%.

A significant drop in prices was recorded in the clothing item, which fell by 3.2%.

Comparing the transaction prices of the Central Bureau of Statistics, carried out in December 2021 - January 2022, compared with the transaction prices carried out in November 2021 - December 2021, it was found that apartment prices increased by 2.1%, thus completing an increase of 13.0% compared to the same period last year, December 2020 - January 2021.

Meanwhile, the price index of residential construction inputs rose by 0.5% in February 2022. From the beginning of the year, the price index of residential construction inputs rose by 1.3% and in the last twelve months, ie February 2022 compared to February 2021, the price of residential construction inputs rose 6.1% due to the increase in index prices without wages by 10.3% and by the prices of wages by 1.4%.

The price index of manufacturing output to domestic destinations increased by 2.4% in February 2022. Since the beginning of the year, the index has increased by 3.4% and in the last twelve months, ie in February 2022 compared to February 2021, the price index of manufacturing output to local destinations increased by 12.7%.

In addition, a significant rise in prices was recorded in the "Refined Petroleum Products" industry, which rose by 17.1%.
