Over the course of 4 days, the (Acacia) bazaar in its seventh season, which was organized by Lamsa Homsiyeh Complex in cooperation with the Homs Tourism Directorate, attracted hundreds of visitors to receive a beautiful gift for the Mother’s and Teacher’s Days and the month of Ramadan, perfected by female fingers with an innovative touch in design and colors.

The bazaar, which was held in Al-Tariq Hall in Homs during the period from 2 to 15 March, included a variety of handicrafts and artistic works for a number of women who invested their passion for arts to accomplish the best works of accessories, souvenirs, household items, crafts, crochet, pottery, and inscriptions on marble and fabrics. clothing, leather, toys and cosmetics.

In statements to SANA’s reporter, the director of Lamsat Homsieh complex and supervisor of the bazaar, Waroud Hamza, explained that the bazaar seeks to employ the largest number of women who have a creative footprint, and to display their products that guarantee their entry into the labor market, which is reflected in the material and moral benefits for them and their families.

Suzan Nakadli, who participates in handicrafts, expressed her happiness for reiterating her participation in the bazaar, which she described as an opportunity to display paintings and models that were made using copper wires, beads, agate stones, crystals and chamois, while the engineer, Ataa Al-Sibai, indicated that she participated in various handcrafts, molded with wax, soap and gypsum.

Engineer Reem Al-Shawi pointed out that she displays gowns she designed and embroidered with Arabic calligraphy, and others with golden threads and heritage inscriptions, while the plastic artist Ola Qureshi used the bazaar to display her artwork, in which she relied on ceramic paste to decorate cups, plates and mirrors, as her work as a teacher of art education helped her develop her style of work.

The engineer, Ghina Tarsha, indicated that she participated in marble paintings that included the most beautiful Syrian landmarks and decorated them with gold leaf, while the pharmacist Aman Al-Naasan stated that she chose for her natural products dedicated to the care of female beauty, with which she participates in the bazaar with materials from the rich nature, noting the role of the bazaar in attracting visitors during the festive period.

Iman Al-Rifai, who owns a workshop to employ girls in embroidery on velvet and cloth, takes advantage of the bazaar to sell her products and describes it as a happy occasion to gift the mother, the teacher and the future of the blessed month of Ramadan souvenirs that leave a pleasant impression on the souls.

Charitable societies such as the Spring Society, the Care of the Blind, and the Fight against Cancer Patients had the opportunity to participate in the bazaar so that the proceeds of what they sell would return to orphans, autism and cancer patients.
