Hungarian President Adler Janusch awarded the international Syrian artist Bahjat Iskandar the Presidential Medal of Merit "Kushut Prize 2022" as part of Hungary's celebration of the National Day in appreciation of his artworks.
It is noteworthy that the artist Bahjat Iskandar, who left the homeland and moved to Hungary in 1967 to complete his higher studies, participated in many international exhibitions and received more than 100 prizes in photography. In 2019, he was awarded the highest ministerial decoration given in Bulgaria.
