The Russia Today website quoted Zakharova as saying: “The set of measures aimed at resuming the nuclear agreement with Iran is based on the principle that Russia was defending, which is the concurrent and simultaneous return of Iran and the United States to implement the terms of the nuclear agreement in accordance with previously agreed criteria and schedules.”

It will increase its cooperation with Iran, even under conditions of illegal sanctions, and will support the expediting of an agreement on the Iranian nuclear file, while awaiting the return of the United States to the agreement and the lifting of sanctions on Tehran.
