Verdi is calling for a 24-hour strike at Hamburg Airport on Tuesday.
Various take-offs and landings were already canceled on Monday.
Hamburg – Weeks ago, the strike at Hamburg Airport during the March vacation was in the room, now there were flight cancellations at Hamburg Airport Helmut Schmidt in Fuhlsbüttel just in time for the ongoing vacation.
The reason for this is the work stoppage of the security personnel.
On Monday, however, not at Hamburg Airport itself, but at two airports in North Rhine-Westphalia and one in Bavaria.
Due to the warning strikes there, which the ver.di trade union had called for, various arrivals and departures in Hamburg are now being cancelled.
On Tuesday there will be even more delays in Hamburg, as reported by 24hamburg.de.

No plane will take off from Hamburg to the cathedral metropolis and federal city on Monday, but two of the three originally planned planes will take off for Düsseldorf.
There is no flight connection to the Bavarian metropolis of Nuremberg on Monday.
The one connection per route had to be canceled for March 14, 2022.

In Germany, radical cuts in mobility for climate protection, including a ban on domestic flights, are being called for, but there is no such ban in Germany as in neighboring France.
